A Dream...

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had many dreams and aspirations in his life, but his most important dream was to see "that [his] four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

He encouraged people to protest peacefully so that no one would have anything negative to say about their actions, and people did just that -- they entered restaurants, building, etc peacefully, and though they were pushed, shoved, and yelled at, they maintained their integrity by standing firm on defending their rights in a quiet manner that spoke volumes to the rest of the nation.
