April comes with hard rains, which we really need right now, especially so that our plants can flourish! Read the shower of stories below for some refreshing tales.

Objective: Learn about rhyming words and poetry through read-alouds and nursery rhymes. Create simple poems and engage in rhythm-based activities. Analyze different types of poetry and practice creative writing. Discuss poetic devices and their effect on meaning and mood.
