Here's to more rainy-weather stories. Hopefully all these books about rain will bring some showers to our city. Rainy weather always makes reading so much more enjoyable!



Objective: Learn about rhyming words and poetry through read-alouds and nursery rhymes. Create simple poems and engage in rhythm-based activities. Analyze different types of poetry and practice creative writing. Discuss poetic devices and their effect on meaning and mood.
